I dove into the ocean
to catch a glimpse
of a sea turtle.
I saw him for a moment,
majestic,
grand,
and my heart fluttered.
I saw pods of dolphins
in the wild,
leaping,
frolicking like children in
the playground
and my heart sang.
I saw wondrous things
without a compass to lead the way
nor a plan.
My guide was my curiosity
and the willingness to fail.
Wow, in the sea world just to be dipping down and down!! happy 2015
ReplyDeletesmiles...we can see some pretty amazing things when we let that curiousity be our guide...i have seen the loggerheads at a farm where they were being cared for and raised, but never swam with them in nature...that would be so cool....
ReplyDeleteThat last line is so important in life. I think being in the ocean is sort of a primal need fulfilled. So many things to discover.
