Sun Kissed Days

Yesterday

Yesterday the sun smiled upon me,
the stars danced to my gaze.
The failures were a stepping stone,
the struggle was overcome by strength.
Unanswered questions fueled my immense curiosity,
extending my branches into the world.
My fighting spirit alive and spirited.
I am not blue about yesterday,
the memories stored in my mind,
gratitude that my soul was lifted.
I could not predict today's gifts.
Drink from my well of knowledge,
erase insecurity from your inner critic,
today live life to the fullest.

I am bathing in your well. I will stay here and soak it up and play here in it for a while. These words are exactly the right ones.
