Obstacles in your journey,
decisions to make,
is fear seeping inside?
Breathe.
Unanswered questions,
a bit of confusion,
your mental process.
Breathe.
There are bridges you will cross,
to unknown places,
to challenges.
The answer is inside you,
if you stop to listen.
The choices are yours,
not mine.
The world awaits you with grace.
I await you with open arms.
smiles. our decisions determine in many ways where we get in life...and how we make them is hugely important...to give grace enough for them to make their own decisions, i like that...
ReplyDeleteI have some very big choices to make and I've been stalling. Sometimes it is so very hard my friend, to make that leap.
ReplyDeleteI hope that you had a very blessed Easter chica!
There are so many decisions to make on the path to adulthood, and it's so hard to know where they will lead. As you say, about all we can do is remind them to listen to their own hearts!
ReplyDeleteOh, boy. Decisions are sometimes so hard for me and then I look outside myself and although it sometimes helps, it sometimes makes things more confusing. Yes, breathing and being quiet with ourselves is sometimes the best thing. xox
ReplyDeleteOf course I loved this....it included the word "breathe" ...one of my favorite words! :)
ReplyDeleteHaving sons who are nearing adulthood I could so relate to this ayala.
Then as I read it a second time I realize that much of it can be applied to the stage of life I'm at also.
It's nice to be back reading my favorite blogs..thanks for posting
Oh, and just saw your Easter greeting!
ReplyDeleteHappy Belated Easter ayala!
Be blessed~
Breathe....inspirational! Yes, I enjoyed the holiday, as it served as a time of remembrance, reflection, new direction and thanks. Sending blessings your way!
ReplyDeleteYes, breathe!
ReplyDeleteI found this very inspirational and peaceful.
Thank you, Brian :)
ReplyDeleteAlita, I hope that your decision making brings you peace and good things :)
ReplyDeleteJuliana, true, all we can do is watch them follow their hearts.
ReplyDeleteTessa, decisions make such a difference in the path that we take...no wonder sometimes it's hard.xo

ReplyDeleteThank you, Mama Zen :)
ReplyDeleteBreathing is so hard sometimes, especially when the heat of the decision is on you. But you are right, if we pause, perhaps clarity will come sooner.
ReplyDeleteRudri, you are right sometimes breathing can be so hard and yet sometimes that's exactly what we need to do.
ReplyDeleteThis struck me as being wonderfully maternal; always waiting and accepting with open arms. Just lovely, Ayala.
ReplyDeleteMy dear Belinda, thank you. I did write it for my son, he has to make some important decisions and I wanted him to know that he always has my support.
