Peer outside the window of life,
walk through the door of mystery.
Seek not the things in reach,
how else would you touch life.
Dive into it's sweet and sour,
abandon the safe and the expected.
Walk through the thunderstorms of life,
armed with your honesty and grace.
Leave yesterday behind to live today.
good advice... beautifully written :)

ReplyDeleteIt's so hard to abandon the safe and expected, at least for me. Always a challenge!
ReplyDeleteI have a hard time remembering to embrace the sweet AND sour, especially in the moment. More sweetness, more sweetness, I think. Ah well, something more to learn.
ReplyDeleteLike Melissa, I am always looking for more sweetness, but I love the way you put it here: Dive into the sweet and sour of life.
ReplyDeleteMaybe diving into the sour is the only way to get past it.
This is such a delicious and delicate use of words an images. I love your way with words. Another great post ♥
