You are the feather that
finds me
and rests on my shoulder.
You are the breeze
that caresses my skin.
You are the shimmer I see
over clear waters.
You are the butterfly
that lands fearless on my face.
You are the sound that I hear
from the music box
while no one touched it.
You are the seagull poised
on the fence
anchored in the moment.
You are the song
the sparrow sings
you are the joy and sorrow
I feel within.
You are in my smile,
in the sound of my laughter,
in the core of my being.
For Mom and Dad I will always miss you. Meet us here http://dversepoets.com/ where we share our thoughts and our hearts.
